Such a life style is achieved through an ongoing change of heart and a life of worship. This gospel life takes on a natural expression through simple living, building community and selfless service and spurs us on to special ways of evangelization: social justice, attitudes towards work, Christian family living, ecology and peacemaking. How do we live the Gospel call to peace in a world shaped by violence and retribution?
This Franciscan Conversations gathering invites Secular Franciscans and companions to reflect together on Gospel nonviolence and active peacemaking. Grounded in Scripture, Catholic Social Teaching, and the Rule of the Secular Franciscan Order, this conversation centers on lived experience rather than debate or expertise.
This is a space for prayerful listening, honest sharing, and open, trusting dialogue.
What to expect
A brief Gospel and JPIC framing
Shared reflection rooted in daily life
Respectful listening across differences
A spirit of fraternity and hope
What you do not need
No prework
No prior preparation
No special background
Just come as you are, with your story, your questions,
